Fuze HR is hiring on behalf of our client for a full-time position Counter Balance Forklift Operator

Location: Woodbridge, ON

Position Title: Forklift - Propane Counterbalance

Tasks: Order Picking, Shipping, Unloading, Production, Forklift

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform a pre-shift inspection of the Forklift.
Complete pre-shift Daily Inspection form and hand it in at the start of the shift.
Operate equipment/machinery following all Safety procedures.
Load and unload trucks.
Report any equipment malfunctions to Maintenance or Shipping Supervisor.
Monitor the quality of material and product being handled and report any deficiencies to the Shipping Supervisor.
Ensure that material is stored in appropriate/designated storage areas.
Ensure accuracy of material supplied to the Production line.
Maintain housekeeping/cleaning of equipment and the assigned work area.
Participate in Department and Company meetings as applicable.
Participate in mid and year-end inventory counts if needed.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, as applicable.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor/Manager.

Education and Experience:

Must work as a Loader when required.
Forklift certification required (Counterbalance).
Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
Previous manufacturing experience is an asset but not a requirement.
Demonstrates the ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Ability to complete reports accurately and legibly.
Good communication skills.
Team player, strong interpersonal skills.

Shift Premium & Retention Bonus Offered

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2 pm

Salary: $22.44 per hour

Certification Required: Forklift -Propane Counterbalance license required

Light, Medium or Heavy work? Medium to heavy lifting

Other Comments: 5 years minimum experience required

Sign-on Bonus: $1K - $500 after 1 month and $500 at 6 months. Retention bonus $1,378 every 500 hours worked.
