Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our client team. As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high-quality metal parts.

_ Afternoon shift- 3pm to 11pm _

_ Pay rate is 20$ to 26$_

Tasks:
Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair.
Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
Operate forklift.
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating
Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precision
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

_ Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. _

Education:

Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience.

Work setting:

Metal product fabrication industry. Sheet metal shop.

Equipment and machinery experience:
Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Cutting machine.

Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's license.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Attention to detail.
Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Fast-paced environment.
Handling heavy loads.
Work under pressure.
Personal suitability: Organized. Team player.
