We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant on behalf of one of our Clients
This is a full-time temp-perm opportunity for the successful candidate
Start date is immediate
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Providing Administrative support to legal team, incld:
- Preparation of legal documents, applications and confidential and highly sensitive correspondence;
- Assisting with administrative duties such as document scanning and filing;
- Arranging meetings & travel;
- Act as liaison between lawyers, clients and external parties
- Act as team player
PERKS OF THE JOB
- Immediate full-time hours, providing consistent work.
- $24-$26/hr - commensurate with experience
- Weekends off, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
- Prompt weekly payroll through direct deposit.
REQUIREMENTS
- Legal/Administrative Assistant Diploma (equivalences will be considered)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Min. 3 years' experience in similar role
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
- Attention to details and a strong work ethic
- Ability to remain calm in what can be stressful situations
- Demonstrated reliability and dedication as a worker
- Respect for, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
