Avery HR is currently accepting applications for a hands-on Construction Lead Hand. The ideal candidate will have at least 3- 5 plus years experience and must be motivated, hardworking with high attention to detail and quality of workmanship.

This position requires travelling between Barrie and Collingwood on a frequent and regular basis.

Duties include:
Experience with drywall and residential properties is required.
Perform work in areas of residential and commercial renovations, help in rough framing, structural framing, trim work, decks, fences, hanging drywall, installing windows & doors, flooring, etc.
Using various tools and equipment used in the construction trades
Help measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
Work at heights, noisy, dusty atmospheres
Able to handle heavy loads, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling.

Requirements:
Must be detail oriented, team player, reliable, trustworthy and punctual
Must be able to take instructions easily with the ability to communicate well
Able to work well independently
Valid class G driver's license and drivers' abstract required
Must have own vehicle for travel to various work sites in Barrie and Collingwood
Clear criminal record check
Employer is willing to train and certify when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
