As a key member of the Finance Leadership team, in this role you will lead the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting team. As a seasoned professional with experience bringing out the best in others, you will provide oversight on technical matters, coach your team towards personal and professional success, and take on special projects to move the business forward. Joining a large Finance team of passionate professionals, this is an in-office role located in our Vancouver office.

Who You Are

You have 5 - 7 years' progressive experience in accounting, an undergraduate business degree, and hold a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. You started your career in public practice and have experience managing, coaching, and developing a team of CPAs. Bonus points if you have experience in the real estate industry.

You know your stuff: financial/business management and internal controls, risk management and mitigation strategies, accounting principles, budgeting and forecasting, and financial statement preparation and analysis. It almost goes without saying that your excel skills are legendary.

You take pride in your work, making sure all the details are taken care of and leading in a manner which inspires others, and makes it a great place to work. You are well-organized, self-motivated, and thoughtful.

You have a strong ability to communicate and can produce concise, professionally written documents and reports tailored to your audience.

Finally, you get things done. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and make time to build relationships. You recognize your team for their accomplishments and genuinely care about their personal, professional, and financial growth.
