Starting Wage: $70,000 - $90,000 including tips.

In this role:
You will work at Hunter Gather Eatery & Taphouse.
You will be responsible organizing, supervising and evaluating onsite operations and procedures for Hunter Gather Eatery and Taphouse.

Specific Tasks Include:
Operations:
• Manage long term strategic goals for the location.
• Achieve targets set for revenue and expenses.
• Manage daily operations of all items pertaining to production and service.
• Assess, manage and delegate tasks accordingly to direct reports.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items.
• Ensure that ordering and stock levels are maintained for operations.
• Follow up on the quality and consistency of food and service through communication with direct reports
• Oversee the front of house schedule.
• Manage vendor communication. .
• Manage location cleanliness and organization.
• Manage the proper use of equipment including coffee machines, ice machines,
• Manage maintenance and cleanliness of all equipment for the means of service, that equipment is kept in excellent shape and to perform daily operations and conduct inventories to ensure minimum loss, and organize replacement of equipment.
• Oversee and delegate staff training and performance.
• Resolve guest complaints, through consultation with the Director of Operations and / Or Whistler Cooks Group of Companies General Manager.

Communications
• To be the point of contact for location based staff as it relates to their specific responsibilities/timings/uniform requirements.
• Attend weekly meetings with the Director of Operations and / Or Whistler Cooks Group of Companies General Manager.
• Communicate closely with direct reports to ensure schedules are being respected.
• Manage online review.
• Manage social media content creation and posting.
• Manage marketing and promotion of the location including (but not limited to) social media and local advertising.
You will need to:
• Minimum 5 year of supervisor / management experience.
• Possess serving it right certification.
• Possess or obtain food safe certification level 1.
• Extensive Experience at different food and beverage locations.
Knowledge / Skills / Aptitudes:
• Knowledge of basic training techniques.
• Understanding of regional health and sanitation laws.
• Understanding of essential restaurant equipment usage and maintenance.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem solving skills.
• Team player with ability to take direction.
• Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift.
• Able to frequently lift and carry food, beverage and other items greater than 35 pounds, able to transport up to 70 pounds regularly.
