Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) at Aurora Recovery Centre, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical and psychiatric care to our clients. Your expertise in nursing, combined with your compassion and dedication, will be integral in helping clients achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and self-care techniques
- Assist with medical procedures such as wound care, catheter insertion, and IV administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
