Our client, a large mid sized fabrication company is seeking a Quality Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills along with a background in ISO 9001. In addition they are seeking a candidate who can commit to an in office work environment Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, maintain quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure that products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.

Monitor and analyze data related to quality control processes, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.

Lead and manage a team of quality control personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.

Investigate non-conformance using 8D principles of root cause analysis to deliver effective solutions via the corrective action reporting process

Communicate with other teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure that quality control processes are aligned with business objectives.

Perform audits of quality control processes, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for corrective action.

Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring that all necessary records and reports are accurate and up-to-date.

Train team members on quality control processes, procedures, and policies, ensuring that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs effectively.

The Quality Manager will oversee and monitor the Quality Management System to ensure production is meeting the highest standards.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve business objectives.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant industry standards and regulations.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team

members and stakeholders at all levels.

Attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative

solutions.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

simultaneously.

Knowledge of quality control processes, procedures, and policies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

5+ years in Quality Control steel industry or manufacturing environment.
