The details are as below: Position: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic (Full Time/ Permanent) Number of Positions: 1 Position Salary: 32.00/hr for 30 - 40 hrs/week Education: Secondary School Experience: 2-3 years of experience required Language: English Essential skills: Team player, client focus, good oral communication, flexibility. Work Conditions & Physical Capability: Bending, crouching, kneeling and attention to detail. Duties to be performed: Measure and lay out reference points for the installation. Read and understand blueprints, drawings, or other specifications. Replace and repair parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems. Startup system and test for leaks using testing devices. Use hand or power tools to install refrigeration or air conditioning parts such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators, and compressors. Set up, troubleshoot, and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems. May prepare work estimates for clients.
