Job Description:

We are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children to learn and grow. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team as Daycare Workers. You will play a vital role in promoting the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual well-being of the children in your care.You will be responsible for implementing our educational programs, ensuring the safety of the children, and maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.

General Responsibilities and Tasks:

Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
Maintain daycare equipment
Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience:
