We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful long term care facilities, Piccadilly Seniors Community.
Facility Address: 821 - 10th Ave SW, Salmon Arm, BC, V1E 1T2
Position Details: Permanent Line, composed of the following rotations:
2 days on 2 days off,
3 days on 2 days off,
2 days on 3 days off
Compensation: Starting at $32.84 per hour + extended health and dental benefits
Responsibilities
Performs assessments.
Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
Cultural education and experience are preferred
