The Opportunity

Reporting to our Manager of Customer Service, as a Broker you will be responsible for managing the client experience related to personal lines insurance policies. You will manager policy changes, endorsements, claims and other client inquiries with precision and professionalism, be it digitally, over the phone or in person.

Primary Responsibilities

Conduct policy changes and endorsements for clients

Answer incoming calls and welcome clients who visit our office in person

Assist clients with reporting claims to the insuring company

Review policies and recommend coverages to clients based on individual needs

Respond to carrier requests for information on existing policies with support

Complete an ITV on system for property policies with support

Use an ARS system to provide quotes to insureds with support

Process client payments and assist with billing inquiries

Responsible for PAL, Hagerty and Elite Policies

Sign applications with clients as arranged and communicate any discrepancies

Work closely with other departments to service clients requests

Adherence to all company health and safety policies

Our Ideal Candidate:

Has a RIBO license/OTL in good standing (CAIB is also considered an asset)

Has worked in the insurance industry for 3+ years in personal lines

Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and integrity

Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Works well within a team and independently, taking initiative to assist team members where needed

Interacts with patience, enthusiasm and dedication

Approaches learning and professional development with enthusiasm

Pays close attention to detail and multitasks with a high level of organization and accuracy
