Performance Acura Niagara is currently seeking a Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team in St. Catharines.

Here's what you'll deliver:
Answering parts related to phone calls, receiving parts, maintaining organization and accurate inventory in the parts room.

Safely operating company vehicles to supply parts to technicians, customers and deliveries to wholesale customers.

Actively sell and promote parts to the customers and order parts based on needs.

Inspect damaged parts brought in by customers to determine the proper replacement.

Identify the necessary part on the basis of the customer's description of the trouble.

Examine returned parts for defects and confer with customers about exchanging the part or refunding their money.

Consult catalogs for stock numbers and prices and bring parts from the stockroom.

Suggest a part that is interchangeable.

Place a special order for the part or refer the customer elsewhere, if the customer needs a part that is not stocked.

Unpack and mark incoming parts and store them in the stockroom according to a prearranged system.

Receive and fill telephone orders.

Keep catalogs and price lists up-to-date.

Record sales, take inventory.

Excellent customer service skills.

Adhere to all rules, regulations and procedures.

Make sure all work performed is thorough, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion.
What you need to succeed:
1 year of Parts Advisor experience at Dealership level with strong automotive knowledge is an asset.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must have valid Class 'G' Ontario driver's license and clean drivers abstract.
Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Personable, adaptable, and versatile.
Willing to work as a member of a team and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.
Work effectively without supervision.
Attend factory-sponsored training classes as scheduled by management.
Attend dealer-specified training courses as scheduled by management.
Perform "e-learn" courses as scheduled by management.
Maintain a high quality standard in the Parts Department

This compensation range will be based on knowledge, experience and bonus earnings

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 (including bonus) per year
