Job Description

As a Recruitment Partner for Long Term Care, you will partner with our Homes to establish recruitment strategies as well as assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing. You will be a brand ambassador that promotes the Extendicare brand online and through various recruitment events and will leverage your curiosity to find new and innovative ways to highlight Extendicare as an Employer of Choice.

Your responsibilities:

  • Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications
  • Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system

Your qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year talent acquisition experience, preferably in retail, healthcare, hospitality, or other high-volume industry.
  • Experience managing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Ability to identify and implement innovative approaches to recruiting.
  • Collaborative team player who can manage competing demands and needs of multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Action oriented and ability to deliver results.
