Fabrication Lead Hand

Straight day shift Mon-Fri
$25-27hr with Benefits and room to grow
Responsibilities
Lead team of machine operators, fabricators and labourers
Schedule, direct and coordinate activities of shift
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings and ensure production accuracy
Troubleshoot production and quality issues
Maintain accurate production progress tracking and reporting any scheduling or material issues to Management
Address employee performance concerns regarding attendance and productivity
Guide, support and train team members.
Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience in lead hand or supervisory role in metals fabrication environment
Excellent communication, organizational and conflict resolution skills
Computer proficiency and ability to track and report on production progress and quality concerns
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
