Our client in Scarborough, ON is seeking candidates for the position of CNC Programmer and CNC Operator. This role involves operating CNC machines, programming, and setting up CNC equipment to produce precision parts while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities :
CNC Machine Operation : Operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and efficiency.
CNC Programming : Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs to control the machining process. This includes G-code and M-code programming.
Quality Assurance : Ensure that products meet defined quality standards by carefully monitoring the machining process.
Machine Setup and Adjustment : Adjust machine settings and change tools as required to maintain optimal performance.
Basic Machine Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep CNC machines in good working condition.
Safety Compliance : Strictly follow safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
CNC Experience : Previous experience with CNC machines is required.
CNC Programming Skills : Proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code and M-code, is essential for this position.
Technical Drawing Proficiency : Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is a must.
Attention to Detail : Pay close attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of machined parts.
Safety Awareness : Knowledge of safety standards and a commitment to safety in the workplace.
