Job Description:
Ensuring the sales division consistently and profitably meets vehicle sales quotas each month
Execute the duties in the variable ops meeting model in regards to sales
Maintaining all new and assigned pre-owned inventories
Ensuring the division obtains its objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating and measuring the activities of the new and pre-owned Van sales
Maintaining an inventory of vehicles available for immediate sale and delivery
Developing a business plan to adequately and effectively maintain a compliment of professional sales staff in support of the sales management teams of both stores.
Setting and ensuring the achievement of pre-determined inventory volume and gross profit goals
Ensuring the Van division team members adhere to their specific job descriptions
Holding team accountable to their daily, weekly and monthly work plans.
Managing the finalization of all purchase agreements with help of the Sales Managers
Facilitating the finance and delivery process for the Vans division, including contracting, selling of after sales products, and contract funding
Assisting in the development and execution of marketing activities
Strategically developing a successful overall sales approach for the division
Overall leadership and management of the new and pre-owned inventory assigned to this division
Thinking strategically, participating in annual planning, developing staff, managing new vehicle inventory, ensuring the integrity of the dealerships sales process, monitoring traffic activities, ensuring HR policies are adhered to, and managing excellent customer and factory relations
Prospecting trade industries and companies to increase Vans &s market penetration
Attending industry Trade Shows to market and promote Van Products
Working with fleet supply companies (IE: Pattison Lease) to increase total operational sales to untapped regions
Sourcing, purchasing, and wholesaling Division-specific inventory, while managing pricing, reconditioning, and inventory life cycle
Managing the showroom display as well as inventory presentation
