Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Human Resources serves as an essential member of the College's Executive Team, providing visionary leadership and collaborative guidance in crafting a comprehensive HR strategy. With a commitment to fostering a culture defined by the College's values of caring, integrity, learning, and respect, the new VP will oversee all facets of HR operations, including organizational design, labour and employee relations, strategic workforce planning, diversity, equity, inclusion, Indigenization, and accessibility initiatives, total compensation management, workplace culture enhancement, and change management initiatives. The VP leads a team of over 40 employees and collaborates closely with the College Employer Council to navigate the complexities of a unionized environment, supporting approximately 5,000 full and part-time staff and academic members.

As the ideal candidate, you bring the relevant credentials (Masters, CHRL etc.) designation along with a significant track record of leadership within a public sector entity, ideally within the college sector. With a commitment to the principles of fairness and equity, you thrive in a unionized environment, bringing people-centred business leadership to the forefront. You have a track record of successfully managing complex transformational change initiatives and delivering excellence in innovative and progressive human resources practices. As a leader, you foster collaborative relationships and champion a culture that values the diversity of people and ideas. This role is a hybrid position based in the National Capital Region.
