One of our client is looking for a CNC Machinist & Programmer ( Milling & Lathe ) . This position is responsible to set-up and operate the CNC milling/lathe machines, do programming and have knowledge about using basic machining.

Position: CNC Machinist & Programmer ( Milling & Lathe )

Work Location : Mississauga

Pay Rate: $25 ( depends on the experience)

Schedule 8:00am to 4:30pm

Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
Set up and operate Milling and lathes Machines and to produce precision parts and instruments
Must have knowledge about CNC Programming ( Milling & Lathe )
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines,
Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or tools as needed

Qualifications
Minimum of High School Diploma with 2 year College Manufacturing Program
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming
Must have experience in Mastercam Software
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Must have knowledge of Milling and Turning operations
Set up and operate machine as per orders

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
