Job description: Our client is a leader in the legal sector in Canada. They are looking for an Aderant Systems Analyst who will be responsible for the development, maintenance, system integration, coding, and support of their inter-related ERP Platforms with a major emphasis on intellectual property applications and associated software. You will also be involved in interfacing with other major applications related to finance, customer service, and HR, and also the APIs that connect all the platforms. This is a national role, and the S/A can live in either Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, or Ottawa. Preference is for Montreal or Toronto, and for a bilingual (French / English) individual. Mostly work from home (WFH), with some requirement to go to the office, on an as needed basis, and the occasional overtime. NB - this is definitely NOT a web development role.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Experience with Patrix Patricia (PP) IP software is a key part of this role - ability to retrieve and pass along data from PP as well as integrate PP with other company systems. Strategic role on team working on supporting and upgrading ERP platforms (CRM, HRIS, Finance, DMS, and Edge systems that interface with these ERP systems). Ability to design programs to integrate, load and transform data between systems. Assist in the migration of firm's legacy financial systems to Aderant as required. Able to code in VB, C# and use SQL database in terms of integration of subsystems and working with APIs (such as iManage v2 API - a software packages that integrates with iManage Work). Support and document updates and changes working with application vendors.

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS: BS / BSc and absolute minimum of 6 years working with ERP enterprise systems. Hands-on experience with IP (Intellectual Property) programming software (e.g. Patrix Patricia), time and billing (Aderant, Intapp, iManage (work), Chrome River, MS Dynamics). SDLC, SQL databases (views, triggers, stored procedures, queries), SSIS (SQL server integration). ** Able to code in VB.NET and C# in order to code integration to subsystems, and work with Application Programming Interfaces (SOAP and Restful). Legal, business, financial analysis background of interest. Translatend user requirements into technical requirements. Must be able to conduct all duties in English.
