A career as a Java-API developer on the Transactional Banking team at National Bank means acting as an expert in implementing technology solutions that expose the domain's business capacity and ultimately enable our clients to carry out banking transactions. In this job, you will have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your experience implementing APIs and other solutions like orchestration and streaming.
Your role:- Make a concrete contribution to implementing APIs that expose the Bank's business capabilities both internally and externally
- Have a direct impact on the employee and client experience
- Challenge your fellow architects and designers and help the team grow
- Participate in a variety of major projects
Your team: You will be part of a large team of more than 20 colleagues in the Banking Transactions domain and you will report to Vincent Beaudoin. Our team stands out for the quality of our solutions that enable all the Bank's clients to carry out their banking transactions, for its experience, and for the ability to work on several projects. Our training programs use on-the-job learning to help you master your role. Personalized training content is available to foster ongoing learning. Prerequisites:- Back-end development (Java/Spring boot)
- Kubernetes deployment
- Messaging (Kafka, MQ)
- AWS services
- CI/CD Github/Harness, an asset
- DevOps Optimization of critical applications
- Experience on teams that are serious about software development best practices like automated testing, code review, and DevOps techniques
