The candidate will have the opportunity to manage a broad range of projects, from tenant fit-ups to high-rise residential buildings. The Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. The role demands an individual who comprehensively understands the project design and construction process, capable of leading in-house project teams and serving as the liaison between the client, other consultants, and the construction team.
Qualifications:- Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in project management, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, digital control systems, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, power distribution equipment, lighting systems, etc.
- Proven experience in project management within the design or construction fields.
- Familiarity with construction contract law and standard contract documents.
- Experience with pricing projects and managing fees for additional services.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with clients.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized under the pressure of multiple project deadlines.
- A results-oriented problem solver who enjoys the challenge of finding the right solution for each project.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the building design or construction industry.
- University degree or College diploma in a related field such as Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technology, or equivalency.
