GFL Environmental is looking for a Class 1 or Class 3 Truck Driver to join our team in Trail, British Columbia!
Our Drivers will safely operate one or more vehicle types including Front End, Roll Off, Residential and other trucks utilizing various collection methods to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. Deliver collected solid waste or recyclables to landfill, MRF or transfer station.

- Responsible for performing assigned duties on container delivery and hauling of customer waste from industrial, commercial, and institutional roll-off sites
- Daily route consists of driving to customer sites, secure bin on truck, empty bin at transfer station/landfill, return bin to customer site
- Perform driver check-ins periodically to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
- Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities
- Required to tarp loads
- Required to be able to lift the Roll-Off hook and attach it to the bin, requires bending and ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies
- May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Route Supervisor/Site Manager
- Required to follow all applicable Provincial and Federal transportation laws
- Must have valid Class 1 or Class 3 License with Air Brake endorsement
- 1-2 years driving experience in the transportation sector
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
