A career as a Senior Full Stack Developer in the Wealth Management team at National Bank

means acting as an expert in the development of APIs and backend applications. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your knowledge of Java backend development (Spring boot, APIs, Microservices, DevOps, AWS Cloud development, automated testing)

Your job:
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
  • Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits, and identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
  • Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
  • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
  • Work with teammates in the migration of legacy applications to current Microsoft technologies.
  • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications, as well as analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
  • Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
Your team:

Prerequisites:

Minimum of 7 years of experience as a developer implementing both front-end and back-end solutions

Expert in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Java 11

Mastered the React UI framework

Highly skilled with REST APIs and Spring Boot and senior level knowledge of SQL

Deeply experienced with Dev/Ops tools (Bitbucket (GIT), Jenkins, Vault)

Knowledge considered an asset:

  • Sybase
  • k8s
  • Oauth2
  • GraphQL
  • Splunk
  • Datadog
  • AWS cloud environments

Prior experience in the Banking or Wealth Management industry
