Job Description:
- Maintaining the equipment and ensuring the refrigeration plant is safe to operate
- Assist refrigeration operator when required
- Housekeeping of the engine rooms and roof area on a daily basis
- Fill out the appropriate paperwork
- Responsible for preventative maintenance on the equipment
- Responsible for overhauling reciprocating compressors, pumps, Heat exchangers and associated equipment related to the refrigeration plant, on an annual basis
- Report food safety issues to QA immediately
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or new misses to the Supervisor
- Follow all prescribed SOP's, rotation schedules, HACCP, and GMP procedures
Must have Skills & Qualifications:
- 313A Refrigeration Air Conditioning System Mechanic license
- Cold environment Knowledge of safe food processing
- Attention to detail
- Manual dexterity
- Work at heights, on ladders, and elevating devices
Pay: $41/hour
Shift: 6:00 am-2:30 pm
