Aerotek is hiring a heavy industrial metal fabricator for our client located in Langley BC (Long-term, full-time, overtime available) Will be doing fabrication for custom parts in a jobbing shop. Working on variety of pipes, conveyors, and ramps. These projects are for heavier industries like oil & gas, pulp & paper, forestry and environmental. They have a wide variety of customers and always working on custom projects.
Work Environment:
- $38-42/hour depending on experience, $2.00/hour premium for PM shift
- Day shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm M - F
- Afternoon shift: 3:15 pm to 1:15 am M - T
- Overtime on weekdays and weekends
Job Requirements:
- Experience working in a custom jobbing shop
- Experience working with heavier plate and structural steel
- Experience with mild and stainless steel
- 5+ years fabricating experience
- 1+ years Flux Core experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Own basic fabrication tools
- Experience tack welding
