Aerotek is hiring a Mechanical Assembler
SHIFT: 8am- 4:30pm
2 x 15 mins breaks
Lunch: 12 - 12:30
Wage: $20-$23 depending on experience
Description: This person will be working at an assembly station Assembling Units (motors, gear box, variable speed inverter etc.)

- Review the work order, gather parts and place them on the assembly line to be assembled.
- The assembly of motors consists of pushing gears on shaft and bearings and putting everything into various housings to end up with a completed product.
- You will be using a rubber mallet (hammer), circlips and needle nosed pliers to assemble units as well as an air gun to clean particles from the gear case.
- When working on the repair line, you will be required to disassemble motors, and check to see where the damage occurred
Visual check work order and parts - 15% of the time
Area Maintenance 10%
- Restock parts including bolts, nuts, washers and shims.
- You are responsible for maintenance of your tools by keeping them oiled, clean and sharp.
- Cleans Gear Housing and Cleans Work Area for Safety - 10% of the time
- Cleans dirt, steel, debris and rust from gear housings using a compressed air gun.
MUST HAVE:
- 1 year of recent experience in mechanical assembly
- Ability to lift 30lbs
- Willing to pass a doctors clearance with client AFTER accepting offer
