Job Description: Our client, a prominent player in the production of pumps, valves, and related services, is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Millwright to focus on rotating equipment. Key Responsibilities:- Work under the guidance of the Service Manager to perform tasks such as the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and overhaul of rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps.
- Complete meticulous inspection reports and formulate repair recommendations based on findings.
- Handle both workshop and field service tasks, including on-site repairs, installation inspections, equipment start-ups, and commissioning.
- Execute precision measurements and electrical testing on components to ensure integrity and performance.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Develop and sustain outstanding communication with clients and team members to ensure service excellence.
- Support accurate service quotations and define repair scope in collaboration with the Service Manager.
- Commit to continuous technical learning and participate in relevant workshops and training sessions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by swiftly addressing and resolving service requests.
- Proven experience as a Millwright, with 3-5 years focused on rotating equipment, especially centrifugal pumps.
- Millwright Certification (433A) or equivalent Technical Trades Diploma is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in mechanical systems, machining operations, and a foundational understanding of electrical principles.
- Computer literate, especially with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication abilities and efficient time management. Proficiency in English (required).
- Willing to travel and work weekends when necessary.
