Job Description Summary
GFL Environmental is looking for an experienced AZ Operator to join our team- in Napanee. As a Truck Driver, you will provide transportation services between customer sites in an acceptable and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate motorized vehicles to move material between client sites
- Accurately complete numerous and various documents, including pre/post trip inspections, manifests, log books, VCRs, etc., in a legible manner to meet compliance requirements
- Ensure that all equipment and systems are operated as per Company standards
- Knowledge of TDGA, Reg. 347/558, WMHIS, MTO regulations and NMA (Nutrient Management Act)
- Drivers are required to adhere to all Environmental and Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess an AZ license and submit current abstracts, personal and CVOR (no demerits)
- Must have solid written communication skills in order to complete required paperwork
- Must have exceptional verbal communication skills to be able to interact with internal and external customers
- Must be able to exercise good judgment and think proactively
- Excellent customer service skills, with strong work ethic and positive attitude to represent the Company brand effectively and favorably
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
