Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recruiting for all open roles
- Onboarding and offboarding all Canadian team members
- Managing employee relations
- Overseeing the performance management process
- Handling payroll and benefits responsibilities
- Preparing monthly reports and KPIs
- Reporting directly to the VP of HR
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Human Resources, with proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is a plus
- Familiarity with Canadian HR labor laws and regulations
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions (payroll & benefits, tax, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience with paperless or near-paperless HR departments
- HRIS experience, preferably UKG
- Experience in high volume/high turnover environments (distribution, manufacturing, retail)
- Onsite availability Monday to Friday in Manitoba office
- Availability to start from the first week of June 2024
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
