This position is for a renewable 12-month term. A career as a Senior Advisor in Cyber Resilience Initiatives and Operations, reporting to Stéphanie Lemaire at Banque Nationale, involves making a positive impact on our organization by enhancing the bank's ability to defend against various cyber events through your communication skills, organizational sense, and creativity.

Your role:

This position encompasses two main functions. First, you act as the conductor in executing an initiative with significant impact for the organization. Additionally, depending on your capacity, you may collaborate in our cybersecurity incident simulation practice (also known as TTX). More specifically:

  • Ensure the success of our initiative by managing planning, organization, tracking, documentation, communication, and reporting.
  • Ensure quality assurance and progress by ensuring that each team member fulfills their roles and responsibilities within deadlines.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and find solutions to mitigate them.
  • Design, plan, and facilitate simulation exercises (TTX) in collaboration with various stakeholders, using realistic threat scenarios.
  • Evaluate the organization's performance by identifying cybersecurity gaps and creating detailed reports on exercise results.
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and adapt exercises accordingly.

Prerequisites:

  • Experience in project management or initiative coordination (planning, document review, follow-ups, reporting, etc.).
  • Experience managing stakeholders, including service providers.
  • Desirable experience in designing and facilitating exercises, training, or awareness programs within an organization.
  • Good knowledge of tools, techniques, and procedures used by attackers.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts and ideally familiarity with cybersecurity governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Independence and initiative in managing challenges.
