Looking for local candidates based in Calgary/Airdrie.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 am-5:30 pm. 1 30 minute Lunch, 2 15 minute breaks. Eventually, they will be moving to 6 day work weeks in mid May through June and July. Will return back to a normal working schedule into Oct/Nov.
Description: Day to day job duties could include pulling and installing larger cable in open trench, ensuring ground spacing is correct, completing QA/QC documents and related protocol, hang and secure junction boxes and additional strut/racket supporting hardware. Could also be crimping and installing wire directly into the panels. This work is all outdoors, so candidates must be comfortable with an outdoor working environment.
Work Environment: Candidates will be working at a large solar field near Airdrie, AB. The field is over 600 Acre's - project size is roughly 104 MW. Candidates will be working outdoors at all times in all permitting weather conditions. Lunchrooms and Bathrooms are provided on site. Generally, people will always be working in pairs and will be provided with vehicles to get out to their respective work location. Water is provided on site, some of their remote/side by sides have larger water bottles on them for the candidates to have in the field.
