Job Description:
Our client is involved in the paper manufacturing industry, and they are looking to hire a production supervisor. The supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of all machines, aiding machine operators when necessary and achieving established production targets daily.
Job Duties:
- Production: Oversee machine operators on shift and ensure machines are running smoothly
- Maintenance: Ability to troubleshoot and repair machines (ex. Fixing airlines and completing change overs when needed)
- Health & Safety: Responsible for completing injury/illness and incident reports.
Job Requirements:
- Production supervisory or lead hand experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to use hand, power, and measurement tools.
- Strong Organization, documentation, and computer skills
PAY: $24.50/hour
SHIFT: 12-hour shifts: Sunday to Tuesday and every other wed 7am – 7pm for days
Location: Newmarket
