The Construction Manager is responsible for:

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure on-site safety and compliance with safety program requirements.
• Field Operations: Manage field work for efficiency and contractual compliance.
• Schedule Optimization: Monitor and enhance work schedules and productivity.
• Issue Resolution: Collaborate to swiftly resolve issues with contractors and operations.
• Planning & Coordination: Work closely with contractors to optimize fieldwork planning.
• Activity Coordination: Facilitate seamless coordination of field activities between contractors and operations.
• Constructability Reviews
• Developing Construction work plans based off detailed design.

Highly experienced CM for an active multi-million dollar project which has started piling now. Scope includes pre-engineered building, gas turbines, HRSG, piping, and HV transformers. You Will be accountable for running a GC construction contractor.

This is an onsite position in Saskatchewan for a 2-week in 2-week-out rotation, with accommodations and flights covered.

Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a construction manager.
• Previous experience with Co-gen projects
• Previous experience in a brownfield construction environment.
• Previous experience in a mine site is an asset.
• Supervisor training and certification.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Previous experience Developing Construction work plans based on detailed design.
• Are you currently eligible to work in Canada? (For example permanent resident, valid work permit, etc).
• Heavy industry experience. Energy, mining, power facilities, etc.
