The Construction Manager will work underground in a Potash mining environment.

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
• Review the work progress on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports about job status
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

The work schedule is 40 hours a week Monday to Thursday 10 hour days, this schedule might vary depending on project needs.

Salary: Open to wage negotiations based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• MUST have 5-10 years of direct experience managing major projects in an Underground Potash Environment
• Experience managing Owner and Contracted Resources is required.
• A Supervisor Certificate issued by the Saskatchewan Mines Branch is not required but is considered an important asset.
• Are you currently eligible to work in Canada? (For example: permanent resident, valid work permit, etc)
