NDAX is currently looking to hire a Legal Officer. As a Legal Officer at NDAX, you will be responsible for monitoring all legal affairs within NDAX, handling both internal and external legal concerns. This role will be reporting to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing accurate and timely legal counsel and briefing team on legal issues, potential liabilities and possible courses of actions.
  • Writing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, agreements, stock certificates to ensure NDAX's full legal rights.
  • Researching legal resources such as articles, codes, statutes, judicial decisions and staying up to date on all current laws.
  • Specifying internal governance policies.
  • Regularly analyzing the actions and decisions of NDAX in order to identify problem areas, suggest alternative courses of action and mitigate risk as much as possible.
  • Communicating and negotiating with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust.
  • Directing all claim adjusters, liability attorneys and other members of the legal staff when a legal matter is underway.

Requirements

  • Experience in financial industry
  • Experience in securities and cryptocurrency is an asset.
  • Proven work experience as a Legal Officer in business environment
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of all applicable laws, rules and regulations
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to prepare complex legal documents
  • BSc degree in Law
