The Senior Material Controller is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, tracking, preservation, and issuance of materials, equipment, and consumables supporting the construction and commissioning of the Wheeler River Project. This role ensures materials are handled safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements while maintaining accurate inventory and traceability records. This role will be based at the project site located in the Athabasca Basin on a two-week rotation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance of project materials, equipment, and consumables

· Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking systems to ensure full traceability of project assets

· Coordinate material movements, shipments, and transfers between suppliers, warehouses, and site operations

· Support construction and commissioning teams by ensuring materials, tools, consumables, and spare parts are available when required

· Monitor inventory levels and identify replenishment requirements to support project execution

· Ensure materials management activities comply with project procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards

· Prepare material status reports and communicate inventory, delivery, and material availability updates to project stakeholders

Requirements

You are an experienced materials management professional with a strong background supporting large industrial or mining construction projects. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote site environment where effective coordination and inventory control are critical to project success. In addition, you bring:

· 10+ years of experience in materials control, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain roles within industrial, mining, or construction environments

· Experience supporting large-scale construction or capital projects in a remote site setting

· Strong knowledge of inventory management, material handling, warehousing, and logistics processes

· Experience managing material tracking systems, inventory records, and reporting

· Familiarity with procurement, transportation, customs, and supply chain processes is considered an asset

· Proficiency with MS Office and inventory or ERP systems

· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
