Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are currently looking for a Production Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Production team to enhance plant performance through process analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform process optimization and improvement activities related to mill operations
- Lead or support root cause analysis (RCA) for production and mechanical issues
- Identify and implement process adjustments to improve efficiency, throughput, and quality
- Assist in managing contracts related to production support and site operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and effective operations
- Provide engineering support in preparation for and during planned shutdowns

Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
- P.Eng designation is preferred but not mandatory
- Intermediate to senior-level experience in industrial production or processing environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with contract management and process improvement initiatives is an asset
- Background in potash is not required—applicants with experience in bulk solids manufacturing, oil & gas, seed/food processing, milling, or general mining are encouraged to apply
