We're looking for a dedicated Composite Operator Mold Maintenance (6-month term position) to join our team on the Evening Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday–Friday).

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position ensure fiberglass molds are in excellent condition for composite manufacturing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Inspect and maintain fiberglass molds to ensure proper functioning
  • Perform sanding, buffing, and trimming to repair and shape molds.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with molds.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist and participate in all continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and model a satisfactory work record, which includes but is not limited to safety, quality, efficiency, attendance & punctuality, and behaviour. As per the Company rules and regulations.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships showing respect and professionalism with those contracted in the course of work, including co-workers, leaders, suppliers, and customers as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Grade 12
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings, as well as know all materials used within the department.
  • Demonstrate consistent ability to utilize Root Cause Analysis, develop and implement improvements / corrective actions to advance the process.
  • Experience with Dolly, Pallet Jack, and Forklift in loading, unloading, and moving products.
