Tricycle Lane Ranches Ltd. (TLR) is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Control Centre Operator to join our team on weekday day shifts (Monday – Friday, between 10:30 AM and 5 PM). This is a part-time (20-30 hours), in-person role based in our modern and comfortable Control Centre located in NE Calgary—right by Deerfoot Trail and McKnight Blvd.
TLR is a well-established property management and land acquisition company proudly serving as a sister company to BURNCO Rock Products Ltd., a 113-year-old, international construction materials business. Our Operations Control Centre (OCC) uses advanced technology to help monitor and support the safety and security of our sites across western Canada and the U.S.

No previous experience is required—we'll provide full training. Relevant experience in security or IT is considered an asset.
Requirements
What You Will Be Doing
- Monitor live CCTV feeds from various locations
- Respond to security system alarms and alert operations leaders or first responders as needed
- Dispatch and oversee on-site security officers
- Track and report on incidents from start to finish
- Complete regular patrols of our own office building for safety and maintenance issues
- Manage access cards for employees and visitors
- Create and update internal documentation and data spreadsheets
- Keep an eye on weather and media reports that may impact our operations
- Provide general support to the OCC team
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is:
- A Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) card holder
- Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and calm under pressure
- A good communicator, both in writing and verbally
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Organized and detail-oriented
Nice to Have (Assets):
- Previous experience in a control room, security, dispatch, or IT environment
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, alarm monitoring, or access control software
- Strong multitasking skills and an ability to remain focused for long periods
