About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team and focus on both inbound and outbound sales. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers from all angles—whether they come to us organically or through proactive outreach. As an essential part of our startup team, you will play a key role in generating high-quality leads, building relationships, and driving growth. Your drive, hunger, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment will be crucial to your success.
What You'll Do
- Outbound Prospecting: Initiate contact with potential clients using existing go-to-market channels, focusing on businesses integrated with Sadie's AI-powered voice technology products.
- Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads to ensure alignment with our product offerings and pass them to the appropriate sales teams.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead statuses in the CRM system, ensuring all data is up-to-date for efficient pipeline management.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed targets related to lead generation, qualification rates, and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) contribution from qualified sales opportunities (SQLs).
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and processes to maximize lead generation efforts.
- Market Insights and Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about technological advancements and operational trends within the hospitality industry. Regularly analyze market dynamics, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and adjust outreach strategies accordingly. Share relevant insights with internal teams to inform product development and marketing efforts.
What You Bring
- At least 3–5 years of proven experience in SaaS sales is a must, with strong preference for candidates with significant experience in the hospitality technology or software sector.
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales, lead generation, product demos, and handling complex sales cycles.
- Experience in cold calling, cold prospecting, and sourcing new business opportunities, with a track record of consistently exceeding performance targets.
- Highly proficient in CRM systems (such as Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms to effectively manage and nurture leads.
- Hunter mentality: self-motivated, ambitious, and driven to achieve and surpass sales goals. Ability to independently execute and succeed in a remote work model.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the US is essential. (If US based)
