What are we looking for?

Your mission as a Content Operations Intern will be to join our Product Experience + Content team, who are responsible for creating music, stories, and meditations for BetterSleep, to support various content projects, ensuring smooth execution and effective communication throughout the process. We're seeking a proactive and organized university student who can demonstrate strong project management skills in managing multiple tasks, providing creative feedback, and contributing to our content strategy. This is a hybrid internship based in Montreal QC working 37.5 hours per week for a period of 4 months starting in September 2025. It offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment focused on mental health and wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Operations and Project Management: Collaborate with the Content team to support active content projects and ensure smooth execution
  • Meeting Follow-Up and Execution: Document action items from discussions and track their progress. Proactively identify and address any obstacles to keep projects on track
  • Documentation Management: Maintain project documentation, including plans, timelines, and status reports
  • Creative Feedback: Provide constructive and actionable feedback on written scripts and sound recordings to enhance the quality of creative assets.
  • Ad-hoc Research and Projects: Lead or contribute to special initiatives that add value to our content strategy and production process, as needed.
  • Production Assistance: Support different content departments through research, outreach, scripting editing, audio QA, and more.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Creative Writing, Media Studies, or a related field;
  • Previous internship, coursework, or work experience in project management, content creation (audio, video or written content) , or operations is a plus;
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate with team members;
  • Attention to detail, especially in documentation and creative feedback;
  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying challenges and proposing solutions to ensure project success;
  • Familiarity with project management tools and Google Documents and Spreadsheets;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting and adapt to various working styles;
  • A genuine interest in mental health, wellness, and content creation;
  • Bonus: Experience and a love for storytelling and/or meditations practices;
