The successful Production Assistant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can handle the pressure of a deadline driven environment. You have strong administration skills, and you are service focussed and ask for clarity when required.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensures the accuracy of information by communicating in a timely and organized manner.
  • Assists and supports the Production Coordinator, Production Manager, and Supervisors with day-to-day projects as they arise.
  • Coordinate and track the progress of deliverables and targets.
  • Distribute artwork and materials for comment and approval.
  • Attend team and client briefing sessions, take accurate notes and quickly communicate them to your team.
  • Help coordinate and communicate shifts in schedules, calendars, and meetings.
  • Maintain files as requested.
  • Create a supportive, friendly, and professional atmosphere.
  • Remain proactive.

Requirements

    • Minimum one year of experience in similar roles or strong production management skills.
    • Production and project tracking experience using spreadsheets, databases and database software (such as Shotgun/ShotGrid) is a plus.
    • Strong computer skills especially with Ms Office suite, including Excel & Word and of the Google Suite including Sheets and Docs
    • Understanding and keen on learning about the animation pipeline.
    • Previous experience in a Production Assistant role is a plus.
    • Fluent in English, oral and written
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and change course of action quickly
    • Excellent communication & organizational skills.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Team player attitude.

Benefits

Pay Range: CAD $1,100 - $1,200 per week

This salary range provided reflects our current expectations for these roles as of this posting's date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including your education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical location, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
