Le ou la directeur(trice) de production relèvera des dates clés établies dans le calendrier de production et le budget approuvés. Il ou elle saura également inspirer et motiver l'équipe de production.

- Veiller à ce que tous les éléments de préproduction soient planifiés, assignés et réalisés dans les délais impartis, incluant (sans s'y limiter) : les scénarios, concepts graphiques, storyboards, animatiques, modèles, rigging, etc., et que tout soit approuvé et prêt pour l'animation selon le calendrier de production.

- Faire preuve d'un excellent leadership, de compétences en collaboration et en communication pour garantir que les tâches entre et au sein des départements soient bien assignées, comprises et exécutées conformément aux instructions.

- Travailler avec le ou la producteur(trice) exécutif(ve) pour assurer la livraison des scripts selon les calendriers établis.

- Participer aux analyses de découpage des scripts et aux réunions de faisabilité avec les parties prenantes internes et externes.

- Collaborer avec le producteur exécutif pour mettre à jour et maintenir les calendriers de production globaux, par département, pour le client et les studios partenaires.

- Superviser les coordinateurs(trices) et assistant(e)s de production. Gérer les départements qui leur sont assignés.

- Utiliser ShotGrid (anciennement Shotgun) et superviser son utilisation par l'équipe de production. Veiller à un suivi précis de toutes les tâches.

- Revoir et coordonner les listes hebdomadaires de tâches ("TO DO") avec l'équipe de production pour garantir un suivi et des rapports à jour.

- Participer activement aux réunions d'équipe et de production programmées.

- Fournir des rapports hebdomadaires sur l'état d'avancement de la production, à l'interne comme à l'externe.

A Production Manager will report on milestone dates established by the approved production schedule and budget. They will also Inspire and motivate the production crew.

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for ensuring all pre-production assets have been scheduled and assigned and are completed within the allocated time, including but not limited to scripts, designs, storyboards, animatics, models, rigging, and that all materials are approved and ready for animation in accordance with the production schedule.

• Exercise superior leadership, collaborative, and communication skills to ensure that inter and intra departmental tasks are assigned, understood and completed as per instructed.

• Work with the Line Producer to ensure scripts are delivered according to schedules published.

• Responsible for Script breakdown reviews and viability meetings with internal and external key stakeholders.

• Work with the Line Producer to maintain and update working production schedules – overall, departmental, client, and service studios as requested

• Supervise production coordinators and production assistants. Manage their assigned departments.

• Utilize Shotgun and oversee its use by the production team. Ensure that all tasks are tracked accurately.

• Review and coordinate weekly TO DO lists with the members of the production team to ensure tracking and reporting are accurate and up to date.

• Actively participate in scheduled production and team meetings

• Provide internal and external weekly production status reports
  
  Exigences :
• Minimum 5 ans d'expérience en production d'animation.
• Expérience préalable dans la gestion et le suivi d'un calendrier de production.
• Expérience avérée dans la gestion de plusieurs départements simultanément.
• Maîtrise de ShotGrid : planification, suivi et reporting des tâches.
• Expérience en long métrage d'animation 3D.
• Formation postsecondaire en cinéma, télévision ou gestion de production.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of animation production experience.

• Previous experience managing and tracking against a schedule

• Previous experience successfully managing multiple departments

• Previous experience on Shotgrid a must, scheduling, monitoring and reporting on tasks

• Experience working 3D animated Feature.

• Post-secondary education in, Film, TV Production Management
