We are excited to announce an opening for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic at our state-of-the-art Edmonton facility. This full-time, year-round position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse fleet of heavy equipment crucial to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty equipment including excavators, loaders, and trucks.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring equipment is compliant with safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues effectively.
- Create and maintain detailed records of service and repairs performed.
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to prioritize repairs and maintenance needs.
- Mentor apprentice mechanics and encourage a learning environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to company safety practices.
Requirements
- A valid Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (Red Seal).
- Experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy-duty equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot various issues in a methodical manner.
- Comfortable with technology and familiar with work order software.
- Must hold a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license.
- Knowledge of industry safety regulations and compliance practices.
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.
- Experience with CVIP inspections is an asset.
