Starlink Aviation is looking for a permanent Flight Follower for our international operation under both private (CAR 604) and commercial (CARs 703-704) regulations. As a Flight Follower, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficiency of Starlink Aviation's operations. You will work closely with pilots, flight coordinators, the operations control center, and maintenance departments to coordinate and manage aspects of flight operations.

Your role

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Operations at Starlink Aviation, your role will involve carrying out the technical duties of a Flight Follower while being at the heart of client service activities. Working closely with flight coordination, pilots, maintenance services, and other departments, you will act as a key planner and logistical support to ensure flights are successfully carried out.

As a brand ambassador, you will be responsible for overseeing all stages of private flights — before, during, and after — with the goal of ensuring complete satisfaction for both pilots and owner-clients. For commercial flights and air ambulance missions, you will be responsible for flight planning, flight following, and post-flight administrative procedures. Requirements

To join the team, you must meet the following basic requirements:

  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
  • Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
  • Bilingual (spoken French and English);
  • Experience as a Flight Follower or Flight Dispatcher (asset);
  • Experience in international flight planning and/or Medevac operations (asset);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Diploma in Flight Dispatching (asset);
  • Successful completion of Transport Canada's FDOPS and FDMET exams leading to Flight Dispatcher certification (asset);
  • Knowledge of FOS software (asset);
  • College and/or university education (asset).
