Position: Territory Manager – Automation Hardware Sales

Responsibilities:
- Generate sales leads and identify potential clients through research and prospecting activities.
- Conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective customers to present our automation hardware solutions and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate automation hardware products based on their requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to customers both remotely and on-site when necessary.
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding product availability, pricing and delivery.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to effectively position our products in the market.
- Track sales activities, maintain sales records and prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inside sales or a related sales role, preferably in the automation hardware industry.
- Strong knowledge of automation hardware products, their applications, and the industry landscape, such as PLC's, electrical, programming would put you at the top of the list.Preference will be given to those who have previous Horner PLC experience.
- Preference will also be given to those with a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers over the phone, email and in person.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Results oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and driven to continuously learn and improve sales skills.
- Proficiency in using Salesforce software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities and generate reports.
- French language is not required, but would be considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
