Shape How We Launch & Grow Products That Matter

At Acuity Insights, we're expanding our Product Marketing team to support our company's growth and transformation.

Two Product Marketing Specialist roles are now open on the team.

One is focused on our Assessment products (Casper, Formative, and others in development), and the other on our Program Experience products (One45 and Analytics). You'll have the opportunity to learn about both areas through the hiring process and explore where your skills, interests, and experience align best.

This is more than a launch role.

It's a chance to help build launch excellence at a company scaling with intention. You'll shape stronger product stories, equip revenue teams with the tools and confidence they need, and contribute directly to business growth.

You'll join a collaborative, thoughtful, and mission-driven team where curiosity, clarity, and continuous improvement are core to our work. If you thrive in cross-functional environments, communicate with empathy and precision, and get energized by solving messy problems in smart, scalable ways, this may be a great work environment for you.

This fully remote role gives you the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada, and you'll report to our Manager, Product Marketing while collaborating with partners in product, sales, customer success, enablement, and marketing.

Whether your product marketing experience lies in go-to-market execution, EdTech, assessments, or you're ready to grow into a new domain, this is your opportunity to contribute meaningfully while deepening your craft.

Your Role & Impact

This year, we're focused on building our launch excellence muscle and you'll be at the center of that effort. You'll drive the execution of go-to-market activities for new product and feature launches, improve how we communicate value internally and externally, and help the company build confidence and excitement in how we go to market.

You'll support the full launch lifecycle, from messaging to post-launch learnings, and play a visible role in creating scalable product marketing systems across the company.

What You'll Do

Execute Go-to-Market Plans

  • Collaborate with Product Managers to plan and lead launches
  • Turn product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging and value propositions
  • Create sales and customer-facing materials like one-pagers, objection-handling guides, and pitch decks
  • Facilitate launch coordination across teams, ensuring alignment and momentum

Strengthen Our Launch Approach

  • Contribute to refining our internal launch playbook
  • Help reimagine how we handle release communications and internal enablement
  • Learn from each launch and help us build a cycle of continuous improvement

Partner with Product & Revenue Teams

  • Participate in product discovery activities like customer interviews and design reviews
  • Work with Enablement to deliver effective training for Sales and CS
  • Contribute ideas and input for marketing campaigns, blog posts, webinars, and guides
  • Surface buyer insights by reviewing Gong calls or speaking with customer-facing teams

Drive Alignment Across Products

  • Ensure your product's messaging connects to our broader platform story
  • Help unify positioning and value communication across teams and touchpoints
  • Participate in working groups and planning cycles related to your product area
Business Outcomes

Your work will shape how Acuity Insights shows up in the market and how our teams rally behind each product launch. You'll help us communicate value more clearly, enable revenue teams to operate with greater confidence, and contribute to stronger product growth. Beyond individual launches, you'll play a key role in building a more connected, aligned, and confident go-to-market engine across the company.

Here's how your work will make a difference:

  • Stronger, more strategic launches that generate excitement, alignment, and early traction
  • Sales and CS teams that feel confident and equipped to speak to our products and value
  • Clearer, more compelling messaging that resonates with buyers and differentiates us from competitors
  • Improved cross-functional collaboration that leads to smoother execution and smarter decisions
  • More scalable launch operations, making it easier to go to market faster and more effectively as we grow
  • Tighter feedback loops between the market-facing, product, and go-to-market teams helping us learn and improve over time
What You Bring

We care more about what you've done and how you show up than how many years you've done it. You can be a great fit if you bring a mix of experience, capability, and mindset, such as:

  • Taking at least one product or major feature to market, from planning through execution, in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Contributing to messaging, positioning, and sales collateral that helped teams communicate value clearly and confidently
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Product, Sales, CS, Enablement, or Marketing to bring ideas to life
  • Making launches simpler, more effective, or more strategic, whether through coordination, messaging, enablement, or process
  • Applying (or excited to learn how to apply) AI tools like ChatGPT to improve both quality and efficiency
  • Approaching new domains or complex products with curiosity, fast learning, and resilience in the face of ambiguity
  • Taking pride in producing clear, high-quality work and embracing feedback as a tool for growth
  • Communicating with empathy, adapting messages for different audiences, and listening well in cross-functional settings

You may also bring, or be eager to grow in:

  • Understanding of the EdTech space, assessments, or education program management
  • Supporting Sales and CS teams with tailored enablement content and deal support
  • Participating in product discovery or conducting win/loss interviews to surface buyer insights
  • Building out scalable product marketing processes in a growing or evolving company

Flexibility & Well-Being

  • Work your way. Enjoy fully remote work within Canada, plus up to 6 weeks of international work per year.

  • Plan for retirement. Join our GRSP matching program with contributions matched up to 2% of your salary.

  • Leaders and culture that prioritize people. Work in a caring, inclusive environment that values and encourages work-life balance and continuous learning.
Selection & Interview Process

Whether you apply directly, are referred, or connect with a recruiter or hiring manager, you'll receive equal consideration.

We carefully review every application, considering your experience, abilities, and motivation, along with the human qualities we value most and that help people thrive here: caring, curiosity, drive, resourcefulness, and resiliency.

We do not use AI to review your application, but you may be automatically screened out if you do not meet baseline requirements, such as country residency and valid work authorization.

To ensure accuracy and fairness, AI is used for automatic note-taking during some of our live conversations, but all evaluations and decisions are made by real people.

Our process is a two-way conversation. We want to learn about and understand your career, abilities, and interests and make sure you have all the information you need to decide if this opportunity is right for you.

Here are steps to expect:

  1. Application Review & Response. A human reviews your application for potential and fit. No matter the outcome, you'll receive an update via email.
  2. Recruiter Conversation. A 60-minute call to explore your career story and goals, while giving you a deeper look into our company, products, culture, and team.
  3. Manager Conversation & Launch Walkthrough. A 60-minute conversation to dive into your product marketing experience. You'll walk through a launch you've led, reflecting on your role, process, and outcomes. Visual aids are welcome but optional.
  4. Team Conversations. You'll meet future peers and collaborators from across the company. Each will focus on a key theme — technical or behavioural — to understand how you think and work. You'll also hear about their experience at Acuity Insights.
  5. Wait For a Decision. The Hiring Manager consolidates and evaluates feedback from the team to make a hiring decision. This typically takes 2-4 days.
  6. Offer & Reference Check. If we find a mutual match, we'll invite you to an offer conversation. The offer is contingent on completing a reference check.
The Future We're Building

At Acuity Insights, we believe everyone has incredible potential, and our mission is to help uncover and nurture it.

Imagine a world powered by everyone's full potential. We're working to create that future by building tools and insights that support holistic success for students, educators, and institutions around the world.

Our journey began with a bold idea: to improve how we assess people, not just by academic metrics, but by who they are. In partnership with McMaster University, we developed Casper in 2004 to measure the durable, human skills that matter in health professions and beyond. That vision came to life with the founding of Altus Assessments in 2014.

Meanwhile, One45 started in 1998 at the University of British Columbia helping medical education programs digitize complex processes like curriculum management, scheduling, and assessment. Over time, it became a trusted partner to programs across North America and beyond.

In 2021, Altus Assessments acquired One45, and in 2022, we unified as Acuity Insights, a single, growing organization with a shared purpose and broader vision.

What started as two distinct products is now one integrated mission supported by our Analytics platform, which delivers actionable insights to drive continuous improvement across the learner journey.

Today, our solutions support students and institutions from admissions to graduation across North America, the U.K., Australia, and Saudi Arabia.

As we continue to grow, we're committed to being more than a software provider. We're trusted thought leaders and valued advisors in higher education, offering practical solutions, strategic insights, and guidance that help our partners make confident, informed decisions.

Life at Acuity Insights

At Acuity Insights, you'll be part of a team of 130+ professionals. While we primarily collaborate virtually, we foster strong social connections and opportunities for in-person co-working.

Our core values - caring, curious, and driven - guide how we work. We listen actively, collaborate openly, and embrace challenges with integrity, creativity, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Above all, we believe in purposeful work that makes a real difference.

We are deeply committed to inclusion and belonging. We respect and value diverse perspectives and recognize that different experiences drive innovation and success.

Our workplace policies are designed to promote equity, flexibility, and well-being.

We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, especially those from underrepresented groups, to apply.

Thanks for considering Acuity Insights as your next employer!
