The Opportunity:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4pm. The QA Administrator will be responsible for providing administration support to the QC Department. This would include; daily entry of data from the weld mappers, filing documents, report building, and daily log entry.
This position requires a strong team player with excellent communication, organizational and planning skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Revise piping drawings in Acorn to reflect the layouts
- Tracking and logging of project documentation
- Entering data using Google Sheets and Acorn Drafting Program
- Communicate effectively with QA/QC team and external clients in a professional manner
- Reject reports that have missing/incorrect information
Requirements:
- Experience with Acorn piping software would be an asset
- Experience in piping or structural QA documentation is an asset
- Interested in pursuing a career in Quality Control/Weld Inspection would be an asset
- G-Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail) knowledge/experience would be considered an asset
- Assist Materials Coordinator with receiving paperwork
- Check material chemistry for code and client specification compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient computer and math skills
- Organizational skills and ability to multi‐task
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with confidence is essential
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong computer skills required
