We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Remote Workforce Management to join our team in Montreal. In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing and implementing effective remote workforce management practices, ensuring optimal productivity, engagement, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive remote workforce management strategy, aligned with the organization's objectives and values.
  • Design and implement policies, processes, and tools to optimize remote workforce productivity.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes for remote employees.
  • Develop and implement performance management frameworks for remote teams, including goal setting, performance tracking, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Actively monitor and assess remote workforce metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and team leads in effectively managing remote teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and best practices in remote workforce management.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in remote work practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Champion a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and engagement within the remote workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in workforce management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading remote teams.
  • Strong knowledge of remote workforce management best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement remote workforce management strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision-making.
  • Thorough understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to remote work in Montreal.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications in remote workforce management or related areas are a plus.
